I didn't realise how beautiful leaves were until I lived in Japan. In Autumn, the leaves would change into the most vibrant shades of red, green and yellow. I used to look at those leaves and wonder why we didn't have the same beautiful colours in England.
Since I came back to England, I have noticed that we do actually have trees with red leaves. I have also noticed lots of trees with lovely light-brown and golden leaves, like this tree, which is near where I live.
I wanted to capture its brown, yellow and golden leaves. However, I remembered that I don't have much 'greenery' in any of my pictures (I'm sure I'm not using that word correctly!), so I decided to take a few pictures with green leaves. I also like the effect that the branches give to the picture.
